Academic Advising

The Mathcamp schedule is so packed that it may seem daunting at first. That's why each student at Mathcamp has an academic advisor: an instructor (mentor or faculty) talks with you about your classes (past, present, and future), helps you make good choices each week, and generally make sure that you are having a good experience at camp academically. You choose your academic advisor on the first day of camp: someone you're comfortable talking to, whose mathematical interests align with yours, or who just seems like a cool person to get to know. You and your academic advisor will meet officially once a week, but an advisor is always around to talk math, so you can catch them any time.
