Mathcamp 2008

Mathcamp 2008 will be held at Reed College in Portland, OR, from July 5 to August 10.

Our Oregon office will be open from July 2 to August 12, 2008, from 1 pm to 5 pm daily. Our phone number is 503-517-5105. This is the best way to reach us during the summer.

What is Mathcamp?

Canada/USA Mathcamp is an intensive five-week-long summer program for high-school students interested in mathematics. Our goals are:

• To inspire and motivate these students by introducing them to the beauty and variety of advanced mathematics
• To impart valuable knowledge and skills for the pursuit of mathematics in high school, university, and beyond
• To provide a supportive and fun environment for interaction among students who love mathematics.

Mathcamp is held on a different college or university campus each year. Mathcamp 2007 was help at Colby College in Waterville, ME; Mathcamp 2006 was held at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA; Mathcamp 2005 was held at Reed College in Portland, OR; Mathcamp 2004 was held at Colby College in Waterville, ME; Mathcamp 2003 was held at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA; and Mathcamp 2002 was held at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.
