Course offerings vary from year to year, depending on the interests of the students and faculty: we encourage our instructors to teach what they are most passionate about. The topics are chosen so as to be both interesting and accessible; many of these subjects are typically not covered until graduate school, although they have few formal prerequisites other than a capacity for abstract thought. It is not uncommon for many students to have never even heard of many of our classes before coming to camp.
You can see class descriptions from previous summers' courses on the previous summers page. We are in the process of creating a public archive of notes and problem sets from courses previously taught at Mathcamp; stay tuned for further developments!
