Eligibility to be a JC

Status: JC applications for Mathcamp 2025 are now closed.

First, all applicants must be Mathcamp alumni. (No exceptions, sorry!)

By the first day of camp (June 24, 2025), you must also:

  • be at least 18 years old,
  • no longer be eligible to be a camper,
  • have been a high school graduate, or a college/university student (including Quebec's CEGEP II program), for at least one year, and
  • have not been a university graduate for more than one year.

One may serve at most four (4) summers as a JC.

Finally, all applicants should be available for pre-camp planning (by email) in May and June and to be working fulltime during camp at Lewis & Clark.
