Eligibility to be a JC
Status: Applications have closed for 2026. Stay tuned for next year.
First, all applicants must be Mathcamp alumni. (No exceptions, sorry!)
By the first day of camp (June 23, 2026), you must also:
- be at least 18 years old,
- no longer be eligible to be a camper,
- have been a high school graduate, or a college/university student (including Quebec's CEGEP II program), for at least one year, and
- have not been a university graduate for more than one year.
One may serve at most four (4) summers as a JC.
Finally, all applicants should be available for pre-camp planning (by email) in May and June and to be working fulltime during camp at Champlain College.
