Each camper is assigned a residential advisor in advance of camp; the RAs are the JCs and Mentors who live in the dorm with campers and play an active role in residential life at camp. Your RA is the first staff member you'll meet (before camp even starts, by email!). At camp, your RA will live on your residence hall and is your default point of contact among the staff: if you need something, day or night, your RA is the first person to call.
When necessary, your RA can help you with personal issues, conflict resolution, or crisis response. When things are going well, your RA will just be one of many staff members with whom you interact on a daily basis!
